Vietbay-Siemens EDA Participates in Semicon Vietnam 2024

Vietbay-Siemens EDA took part in Semicon Vietnam 2024, the first international exhibition in Vietnam focused on the semiconductor industry, showcasing the latest technologies supporting semiconductor chip and electronic circuit board design and manufacturing.

Semicon Vietnam 2024 is an event organized and overseen by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, featuring around 150 exhibition booths. The exhibition not only highlights advanced microchip technologies but also covers related fields such as optoelectronics, robotics, smart factories, and the application of artificial intelligence in manufacturing. These technologies not only drive digital transformation but also enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s industrial sector in the global market.

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngọc, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, stated that the exhibition is part of the 2024-2030 Semiconductor Industry Development Strategy, aimed at attracting investment, developing human resources, and building infrastructure to support digital transformation and reduce dependence on foreign technologies. This event marks a significant step forward for Ho Chi Minh City’s semiconductor sector.
