Siemens-Vietbay was honored to receive the Innovation Booth Certificate from Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung for its advanced solutions in the semiconductor electronics field at Innovate Vietnam 2024.
Innovate Vietnam 2024 and the 5th Anniversary of the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC) were organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, taking place over two days, October 1-2, 2024, at the Vietnam National Innovation Center in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (NIC Hoa Lac). Siemens-Vietbay was invited to participate in the event along with leading tech giants such as Meta, Nvidia, Samsung, Qualcomm.
Siemens-Vietbay’s booth focused on comprehensive technology solutions applied in the semiconductor electronics field and had the honor of welcoming a special guest – Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, a passionate leader in innovation and the development of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam.

At the event, Siemens-Vietbay showcased the latest technologies in semiconductor chip design (IC), electronic circuit boards (PCB), and software solutions that support the design and development of electronic products. These innovations help businesses shorten their digital transformation processes, optimize costs, and enhance competitive advantages. This was also a valuable opportunity for Vietbay to meet and share with delegates and guests interested in technological innovation achievements in the industry, as well as to connect with potential customers in the rapidly evolving digital technology environment. Witnessing the impressive innovation achievements of the NIC in recent years, Vietbay’s leadership hopes that Vietnam will leverage technology for breakthrough development with a “breakthrough” strategy, as directed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: “Innovation is of significant importance in all social activities; it is the most crucial factor in enhancing production and the competitiveness of each entity and enterprise.”

In line with the Innovation Vietnam 2024 and with a spirit of continuous innovation over the past 20 years, the leadership of Siemens EDA and Vietbay has been and will continue to accompany the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the NIC in activities that promote the application of technology to support innovation. This is especially true for semiconductor chip design technology and electronic products, as well as smart factories—two of the nine key areas that the NIC focuses on for development.
