On the morning of March 26 in Hanoi, the specialized seminar titled “Connecting Dual-Use Technology Achievements to Support Defense Industry Development” was successfully held. The event was organized by the Military Technical Academy in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industries (VAMI) to promote the application of science and technology in innovation, aiming to develop the defense industry based on a strategy of self-reliance, self-sufficiency, modernization, and dual-use capabilities.
The seminar was attended by leaders from the Military Technical Academy, the General Department of Defense Industry, the General Department of Logistics and Technology, the Department of Military Science, the Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel), the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises, as well as leaders from defense factories and VAMI’s member enterprises.
The event aimed to enhance collaboration and strengthen connections between military and non-military enterprises, maximizing the potential of non-military businesses to design, manufacture, improve, and modernize military equipment. It also focused on mastering technical weaponry, accelerating digital transformation, and advancing green production.
